I have removed the pro-c from xmb, in hoping it would uninstall for itself, maybe it was a bad idea. The battery cannot hold a charge for even 5 min. If I turn off the console, it stays on a dim black screen, blinking the green light for a long time, forcing me to remove the battery most of the times.Īfter that, I just gave up and stopped using the psp for a long time, until now. Running the pro-c update or any other pro-c on xmb would shut off the psp after splash screen. It all worked fine and I was able to run games without any problem on the first 2 or 3 times I’ve powered the psp.Īfter that, every time I tried to run anything, it would just hang on the splash screen. So, I’ve got a 2000 model, that was at 5.XX (can’t remember the exact version) prometheus.Īpparently it was hacked with some method with the battery cuz it’s slightly open (pandora box maybe?).Ī few years back I decided to install 6.60, and get PRO-C CFW (I don’t remember the details of the procedure). I think this has been mentioned before, but the procedure I saw is either outdated or I don't have all the requirements. I need some assistance with my psp, before I brick it completely.
